WHITE LED, RED AND IR LASER

PL-3 is compatible to fit rail Picatinny and universal, with the new lock-up system of the cable switch will only make your shooting operation more confidence.

GENERAL OPERATION
The PL-3 IR integrates stunningly powerful white-light illumination and bright red laser aiming capabilities in one compact rail-mountable package, an extremely effective combination for close to medium-range engagements in law enforcement, military and self-defense applications.
Also boasts an integral infrared-laser (890 nM) sight for use with night vision devices. The PL-3 IR has a tactical on/off system on the tailcap of the flashlight, that provides a temporary and constant on operation (tactical). Tactical switch: press for momentary-on, press further to clip constant-on.
The PL-3 IR series does not require the light to be adjusted or focussed, it is already prefocussed from factory with the latest tech. reflector and specially designed tinted coating, which provides a perfect light beam for the Cree Led.
The rear switches of the PL-3 IR laser module lets you select an array of useful modes. This mode selector offers the choice of: light only, light and red laser, IR laser only, etc. These switches allow you to have full control over the PL-3 IR.

BATTERIES
PL-3 IR is operated by regular lithium CR123A batteries. To change the batteries, just open the tailcap of your flashlight and remove the old batteries. Insert the new batteries with the polarity indicated on the tailcap and close the tailcap.

LED MODULE
The PL-3 IR does not operate with a conventional bulb, incorporates a high-performance Cree LED generates 600 lumens of brilliant white light that is focused by a Pyrex high temperature resistance, controlled by a circuit specially designed to optimize the LED performance. It maintains current levels at maximum to up hold high light flow, stabilises it, limits input, and dissipates the heat throughout the flashlight to protect the LED module.

RED LASER
The PL-3’s 5-milliwatt laser sight, located below the primary light, emits a high-visibility red (650 nM) beam. The laser´s aiming adjustment mechanism uses screws that won’t back out from the effects of recoil, which means it rarely needs to be re-zeroed.

IR LASER (890 nM)
Is ideal for use with night vision devices during stealth operations.

WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed against any defective materials or manufacturing within 2 years from purchase date. Batteries are not included in the warranty.
Any default resulting from abuse, misuse, inappropriate handling, or installation of the product is no covered by the warranty.
When necessary, in order to have your product repaired, you are kindly requested to deliver it (prepaid freight) to you LEDWAVE dealer enclosing proof of purchase (purchase ticket or invoice) and default report.
SAFETY WARNINGS
Read these instructions carefully before using the flashlight for the first time and keep them always handy for future references. This flashlight is not a toy and must not be treated as such. The illuminated LED will generate heat, do not hold the bezel or lens of an activated flashlight against any portion of the human body or any material that could be damaged by heat. Never leave the flashlight unattended when activated. This product contains batteries. There are fire and burns hazard when flashlight is handled unsuitably. Do not try to open or repair the batteries. Do not dismantle, press, prick or short-circuit the outer contacts or circuits. Likewise, do not throw the said contacts or circuits to the fire water and avoid exposure of flashlight and batteries to temperatures above 60º C. Due to its high light emission, it is normal if flashlight heats up after a long run operation, thus your flashlight could reach a temperatures close to 55º C., rated as 100% normal. Do not leave the flashlight switched ON or unattended. Do not point the light beam to the eyes. This is a very powerful light source and can damage your light and retina. Due to risk of fire, overheating and explosion of the batteries, do not leave the flashlight close to a fire, in a vehicle, the sun or in any other place exposed to high temperatures. Leaving the flashlight into the water could result in damage and in a shorter operating life of the product. Do not manipulate the battery under any circumstances as it is covered by a metal jacket to ensure its correct operating. Removing battery protection increases overheating, fire and explosion risk substantially. Do not introduce the flashlight or its batteries in microwave ovens, heat sources, high pressure devices, etc. When fumes, smells or overheating are detected, turn off the flashlight remove the batteries and return it to your supplier. If by accident, any battery interior liquid made eye or skin contact, wash with plenty of water and seek immediate advice from a doctor. If the flashlight leaks any heat liquid, put is aside from any heat source immediately. Battery liquids are flammable and can produce fire or explosion. When corrosion, strange smells, overheat emission or any other malfunction are noticed before using the flashlight for the first time, do not use it and contact your local technical service. Never mix lithium with alkaline batteries, batteries of different brand, age or different state of charge. Never try to recharge regular (primary) batteries. If using rechargeable Li-ion batteries. Recharge the battery to its full when used for the first time provided rechargeable batteries are used. Never use batteries which are not rechargeable. Always follow the instructions of the manufacturer prior to its use. If flashlight emits any sort of strange smell or shows any kind of anomaly while being used or stored, do not use it again. Contact technical service. Using the battery in cold weather condition shortens running time of the battery. When your flashlight runs out of battery, dispose of battery in an appropriate container. Never use or combine regular batteries with rechargeable batteries in this flashlight. Keep batteries away from children.

RESTRICTIONS – LASER WARNING
This device emits laser radiation that can injure the eyes.
Do not direct the beam at anyone operating a vehicle, boat, or aircraft, as the beam appears very bright (especially at night) in a person’s eyes, even at great distances.
Never look into the laser emitter, either directly or indirectly (via reflection).
Never aim the laser beam at eyes, either directly or indirectly (via refection).
Never view the beam with optical instruments (telescopes, binoculars, etc.).
Never open or modify the laser housing.
Use the laser sight only for its intended purpose.

STORAGE CARE
Batteries store a big amount of energy in a limited space, thus when they are not being not used for a long period of time remove them from flashlight to prevent unnecessary discharge and deterioration of flashlight or batteries.
