LIGHT COLOURS AND THEIR ADVANTAGES
One of the “specialities” of LEDWAVE are the flashlights with different coloured LEDs, which are designed to suit the different uses and applications of armed forces worldwide.
The main benefit of colour LEDs over and above colour filters applied on a white light flashlight is that intensity is not lost through the use of a filter; a loss that can reach up to 70%. With colour LEDs all the light power is preserved while using the colour required.

The green light of the Wildfinder model performs several functions. It enhances night vision, is invisible to animals, and helps intensify contrast.
The blue colour of the Tracking Light TL-1 model intensifies blood contrast. Since it has a very long and precise wavelength, bloodstains appear virtually black, while other items appear in different tones of grey. This helps hunters to know the place where an animal has been wounded, or professional forensic scientists to identify the remains of blood or other body fluids and traces.
The red light of the Wildfinder II enhances the night vision of the human eye and attracts less attention from animals. It is therefore very useful for tracking game at night.
